Diet pills only work if you are also dieting and/or exercising.
You can lose weight without working out, but you must create a caloric deficit. Basically, this means that you take in less calories than you use.
Then, the diet pills will help reduce the appetite and accelerate the fat loss while you’re in the deficit.
A couple of good ones that do work:
    Thermorexin – http://www.thermorexin.com/
    Nitor – http://atlargenutrition.com/nutrition_de…

leave off the fats and drink plenty of water….

You need to eat right and exercise at least some, there is no magic pill that will make you lose weight without changing your eating habits and lifestyle.

Ive been on heaps of diet pills but they all seem to lack in purpose.
I was put on to the Lemon Detox Diet. This is a diet where you drink a natural syrup mix for about 5 days.
Cleanse your whole system by detoxing. Stops you from cravings after you finish the program.
No exercise needed. I lost 5kg in 6 days and I felt grate. My skin got shinier and my sinuses passed.
You should look into it. http://www.lemondetoxdiet.com.au

I have found that relacore works great, my grandma used it also, and she had great results, with no excerise, just watching what she eats.

Fasting! I water-fasted on and off for 3 months and have lost 60 pounds. I also walk 3-5 miles a day on my treadmill at 3 miles an hour! Most of the weigth you lose at first will be water so when yopu eat do it lightly! Now, I eat once a day either 1 bowl of soup a can of water-based tuna, fruit or veggies! I have been eating under 1500 calories a day!

Hmm, I agree with Diamond on finding some natural herbal stuff. I sometimes take fiber pills, Benefiber, and they help quite some. But everyone’s metabolism is different, so ask some pharmacists or something. Also, if you’re looking for things other than pills, look into chinese dieting tea! I drink about 20-some ounces a day and it works great. Remember herbs and not chemicals. :)

  9. jinjer says:

I think every pill works differently for different people because of their metabolism…there isnt ONE pill that works for everyone… if you have money you should invest in different kind of pills..but other than that..BE HAPPY….look in the mirror..accept yourself..;)

All diet meds have a negative effect on your heart. If you are fatigued, they create energy your body doesn’t have and you will find yourself crashing after your highs but unable to sleep. That is when people get into “upping and downing”. Diet pills are effective at curbing my appetite but I find the energy they create along with the nervous fatigue they cause creates a hyper irritable person often demonstrating poor judgement and behavior I’m often embarrassed with later. I find everything becomes an “issue”. They get me in trouble. Try a low carb diet. You will have increased productive energy and will be supplying your body and brain with the nutrition needed for your very demanding schedule. You can eat fatty fried meats on a low carb diet but the South Beach version is more healthy than the Adkins and allows you more carbs. My grandaughter did the South Beach and loves it and has lost 25 lbs. I tried the Adkins and lost 30 lbs but found it creates a carb crave that finally overtakes you. I’m changing to the South Beach. My background is in cardiology technology. I’ve heard all the diet pill stories over and over and know first hand their effects. You must create a calorie debt. You can find the equation on the internet for how many calories it takes for you to maintain your present weight and then adjust your intake to create a deficit. My personal belief is that using drugs that speed up a tired person radically overworks the thyroid and will lead to a poorly functioning thyroid. Before the thyroid burns out it can become very hyper functional . This in fact happened to me and a Goofey doctor ,I thought ,knew his business had my thyroid irradiated to slow it down and now I’m on thyroid supplements for Life. I gained 30 pounds in the fist year after that and was doing nothing different.WHOA!!! What I really needed was to slow down and get OFF the diet pills this brainiac had prescribed for me.Be careful with your body!!!!! Don’t expect more than 11/2 pounds a week. The most important thing to do is be consistant and don’t let an indescretion every now and then stop you. Good luck and God’s blessings for all our successes.

    Nope. None work.

I’ve been in your shoes and have tried many different products. The sad news: there is no magic pill. None of them will work to help you lose weight. What will work is eating less and moving more. I can honestly tell you that you’ll be wasting your money by buying those products. Instead, use that money to buy celery and carrot sticks for snacks. Since you go to school, give yourself extra time and park far away from your first class so you can walk a greater distance. At work, take walks on your breaks.
    Good luck to you!

I just asked the same question a couple days ago….GOOD LUCK on getting any names of diet pills! =/ People were mean! They told me to wire my mouth shut, and close the refrigerator! LOL! Jerks!

  14. No diet pill works alone. Any diet pill will work so long as you follow proper diet and excerisize. When they do invent a pill that works alone to cause weight loss, the whole world will know about it. Thank you and good luck.

  16. Mr Stoic says:

Over the counter Diet Pills are scams to make money by businesses that really don’t care about the consumer.
The purpose of Diet Pills are to inhibit your hunger receptors. Thus, reducing your food intake.
However, prescription diet pills are potent and contains chemicals that fight against the hunger receptors.
Bottom line, do not resort to Diet Pills and practice common sense.
    Sensible Diet and Exercise.

  17. Madkins0 says:

There is no non-prescription pill that works, and very few prescription pills that help much.
Try the book “You on a Diet” for some good, well-researched ideas.

they all suck but a suppliment called chromium piccanate is supposed to help regulate sugars and metabolism try useing stairs and drink more water ,, avoid salts

  19. Free Wii says:

Heres the deal- over half Americans are overweight.
Diet suppliments are a multi- BILLION dollar industry, and they are not even looked over by the FDA.
That said, they all make claims to do this, that and the other- and coming from a person who has tried them all, all they did was give me the jitters, and make me spastic, and eat more when I crahsed.
I used to say I dont have time to work out either. 20 minutes in the morning and 20 mins at night on a stationary bike , after a week and I have lost 4.5 lbs, just watching my calories- not carbs- and burning extra calories off on the bike.
Its a slow method, but the only correct one to do !

I would caution you that diet pills will have a different effect on everybody. You should be cautious if you are sensitive to caffeine or other stimulants.

Hydroxycut. I started on it and can honestly say it helps. It supresses your appetite a lot better. But like all other pills out there it doesn’t work without diet and excercise. These are a must. Make time to fit into your schedule to work out. You will feel a lot better once you do.

  22. DiamondX says:

look for the pills with more herbs not all these chemicals

  23. Jamie R says:

I hate the attitude that you must “do it yourself” I tried dieting and excercising for months until I was exhausted and frustrated. Sometimes you do need help.
Phentermine is by far the best diet pill available, it is also the #1 prescribed in the U.S. I lost 60 pounds with them (it took me a year with diet and exercise). You will lose weight regardless, though maybe not as much. You can get them from an online pharmacy. I first got mine from a dietitian’s office.
Some side affects are: high energy, faster heart rate, sleeplessness, low appetite, dry mouth, euphoria. After a week the symptoms dissapate. You cannot take this pill if you have high-blood pressure. Good luck to you.

  24. Mrs. R says:

I have tried just about every diet pill there is to try. They all basically give you more energy, but it is your choice how you will use this energy. You won’t lose weight unless you take this extra energy and literally run with it.
Some diet pills also suppress your appetite. There is an herb called Garcinia Cambogia that is an appetite suppresant that is in some diet pills.
Overall, a diet pill is a diet pill. They are almost all the same. It’s the eating healthy and excercise that is boils down to.
    I found that out myself.

  25. Cardinal Fang says:

Diet pills are so not the answer. They do not encourage permanent weight loss and only store up problems for the future.
The best thing to do is to try and reduce your food intake, and increase your level of exercise. You don’t have to join a gym or anything. Try to go for a walk in your lunch break, cycle to work, or get off the bus one stop earlier. Get yourself a pedometer and try to walk 10 000 steps a day. Its possible to do without really noticing. Ultimately you have to retrain your eating habits – go for brown over white bread, whole grains over processed, things like that, make a consious effort to definately get your 5-a-day fruit and vegetables. Your weight loss will be slower but it will stay off and you’ll have bags more energy.
You start on diet pills, your weight is going to yo-yo all over the place.

There r many different ones n u should see a doctor so he or she can determine the strength u need cuz everyone is different and our bodies react differently to speed which r in diet pills but not all.If u see a doctor it won’t cost ya either n there aren’t to many over the counter that say they work but is a scam.U really need to find a way to make about 15 to 20 min a day to help burn calories.Taking stairs instead of elevators or if u take the bus leave a little early and get off a stop early and walk or cut your food in half and add more nutritious snacks.Diet pills usually don’t work on there own n the ones that do give energy u need to be able to use .U will end up biting your cheeks.Well here r a few different names u can ask your doc about.
    Zenical
    Ionamin
    Ponderal.
I would try ponderal first n see cuz it isn’t as strong as the ionamin which on the street r called yellow jackets which just goes to show that they r strong or the drug addicts wouldn’t want them lol…
